Kaazing Featured at National Association of Broadcasters

Kaazing, pioneers of HTML5 WebSocket and the leading web and mobile communication platform for live data delivery, today announced that it will be featured in Dell’s demonstration of its new Dell Create services solution, unveiled today at the National Association of Broadcasters in Las Vegas.

“We’re excited to be working with Dell to showcase how our technology can seamlessly integrate into the new Dell Create workflow,” said John Donnelly III, Executive Vice President, Kaazing. “It’s a great opportunity to offer insight and introduce our technology to IT professionals and developers for the media and entertainment industry. We look forward to demoing our amazing second screen experiences that can be delivered to and from mobile devices to the TV screen with millisecond speed, scalability, and other benefits that our Kaazing Web Communication platform offers.”

As part of the NAB Show and as an extension of the new Dell Create services solution, Kaazing will be showcasing a new interactive content delivery experience. At the Dell Create portion of the StudioXperience Sponsored by Intel Booth - SL9610, Kaazing will present a first-of-its-kind, live, second-screen demonstration showing how broadcast customers can interactively engage viewers watching a live sporting event on TV. Serving as an example of what’s possible with the new Dell Create solution, Kaazing has worked with Dell to allow viewers to participate in live trivia and betting pools for virtual goods based on what is happening live during the TV sporting event. This interactivity happens via the viewers’ mobile devices while the TV screen showcases poll results and highlights up-to-date results via a leaderboard.

Kaazing is setting the first web benchmark in the industry that provides real-time interaction, capable of delivering near instant data using a single Dell server rack that can support up to one million concurrent web-connected users powered by Kaazing’s JMS Edition 3.5 platform.

Kaazing worked with Dell and TIBCO Software (NASDAQ: TIBX) to deliver dynamic data to one million concurrent users at an average speed of 3.5 milliseconds from publisher to client, without sacrificing performance or the need for large amounts of hardware. Kaazing JMS Edition 3.5 platform in conjunction with TIBCO Enterprise Message Service™ version 6.3, running on Dell PowerEdge 12th generation servers in a standard switched environment, can now support a higher number of users than ever before at speeds never before possible.

Kaazing will be featured at the Dell portion of the StudioXperience Sponsored by Intel Booth - SL9610 at NAB from April 8 - 11 as part of the Dell Create solution demo.
